LACING AND TRUING
This was a bitchy, but very learning procedure... :)
I had never laced and trued a wheel before, so i just jumped into it.
Here is the result after some powdercoating, not bad....
MAKING A SEAT
Again this was a first timer. I made a cardboard 'seatpan',
layed it on a steelplate and cut it out with a grinder.
I forgot to take any pictures of all the punching.
I painted it black. And a friend of mine wrapped it in 3mm thick tan leather.
EXHAUSTING
Making the exhausts was a bit complicated. Ofcause i chose to put them on the left side, so i cut every bit of exhaust i had to pieces and stated to weld like a crasy...
They turned out better than i had hoped.
REARFENDER
I found an old Triumph fender at a swapmeet, and knew i had to have it. It was rusty, but in very nice shape.
Aaahhhhh, very nice view.
PAINTJOB
The danish artist Cay Broendum did the very cool, 'old schoolish' paintjob.
The rearfender got some transparent coating over the rust. And white pinstripes on the edges.
I have probaly forgot to mention a bunch of stuff, but what the heck... :)
Here's the final result:
